Tripping, flickering, dead sockets, hot smells. Found at the source, explained, fixed once.
Fault finding is detective work. A customer who called about new sockets had an existing circuit fault traced back to its source and sorted out while we were there. Another had underfloor heating put right after a previous electrician left it in a mess.
If something in your house trips, buzzes, flickers or smells hot, do not live with it. Send a photo or describe it and you will get an honest view of how urgent it is.

James came to add some sockets and an outdoor light, when an existing fault was found with the circuit he diligently traced this back to the source and sorted it all out. Very professional and friendly. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an electrician!

Excellent service. James came exactly when he said he would and sorted out my underfloor heating (a previous electrician left a mess) and explained how it all worked. I can't recommend James highly enough. A young, intelligent, knowledgeable friendly boy that knows exactly what he's doing. If you need an electrician look no further.

What a lovely man. I phoned James about my electrics. He asked me to send him a photo of my fuse box and subsequently solved my problem in five minutes. He talked me through what I needed to do and also offered me some extra advice so it wouldn't happen again. Not many James' in the world. A huge thank you James! The protection is doing its job, but the cause still needs finding. Unplug anything recently added; if it keeps tripping, get in touch and it will be traced properly.
Often, yes. A photo of the board or the problem on WhatsApp is usually enough to say how urgent it is and what it is likely to involve.
Call and ask. If it is urgent you will get an honest answer about how soon someone can be there rather than a promise that cannot be kept.
